How To Know If Fish Small Bites Is Right

Small dogs with dull coats or dry skin

Fish's high EPA/DHA Omega-3 content is one of the most effective nutritional interventions for skin and coat health.

Picky small dogs that need variety

Silver carp and salmon are novel proteins that re-engage dogs that have lost interest in their food. Smaller pieces are easier to finish.

Small dogs with chicken or beef sensitivities

Fish is a true novel protein for most dogs, making it an ideal rotation or primary recipe for small dogs with known chicken or beef reactions.

Why Air-Dried Is Better Than Kibble And Easier Than Frozen

Gentle on nutrients

Our low-and-slow air-drying process preserves the natural nutrition in every ingredient. No high-heat cooking that strips away what makes real food valuable.

Safe without synthetics

Air-drying eliminates dangerous pathogens without the synthetic preservatives most brands rely on. The result is safe, shelf-stable food with a clean ingredient list.

Scoop and serve

No fridge. No prep. No mess. Store it on a shelf, scoop it into the bowl, and you're done.

Dr Tory Waxman holding a dog

“I created Sundays because I was frustrated seeing dogs fed food I would never recommend as a vet. Every recipe starts with a question I ask myself: would I feed this to my own dog? The answer has to be yes before it goes in the bag.”

Questions About Fish?

Is this recipe complete and balanced?

Yes. All four Sundays recipes are formulated to be complete and balanced according to AAFCO nutritional standards for all life stages, including growth of large size dogs (70 lbs. or more as an adult).

How is air-dried different from kibble or raw?

Air-drying uses gentle, low heat over time to remove moisture while preserving natural nutrients and flavor. Unlike kibble, there's no high-heat extrusion that degrades nutrition. Unlike raw or freeze-dried raw, our air-drying process includes a kill step that eliminates pathogens so there's no food safety risk and no refrigeration required.

Can I mix recipes?

Absolutely. Many Sundays families rotate between recipes or mix two together. There's no nutritional reason not to. All four recipes are complete and balanced on their own.

How long does it stay fresh?

Before opening: approximately 12 months. After opening: at least 6-8 weeks. No refrigeration needed.

Is fish safe for dogs that are sensitive to other proteins?

Yes. Fish — specifically silver carp and salmon — is a true novel protein for most dogs, meaning they are unlikely to have developed a sensitivity to it. It's an excellent choice for dogs with known chicken or beef reactions. The Fish recipe is also free of all common allergens (no corn, soy, dairy, or gluten) and contains no synthetic additives. If your dog has a diagnosed food allergy, we recommend consulting your vet before switching, as with any new food.
